Ok, so I just got back from the One of a Kind Show in Toronto, which opened my eyes to how amazing my fellow Canadian makers are, and also how lucky we are in Halifax! I did a bit of shopping myself, obviously, and with the holidays just around the corner, now is the time to shop local handmade, which doesn't need to cross a border to get to us.

Yesterday it finally felt like Spring here in Halifax!

I brought out my bike for a ride for the first time this year, and realized I've gotten pretty out of shape, despite lugging my market stuff up and down the stairs to my studio every week. It sure felt good too soak in some sun and feel the breeze on my face though.
